Stupid Things Marines Do That Help Us

Don't dumb marines taste great...
Ahh my brood spawn, we have noticed that marines these days are not half the measure of the marines you got back in my day. Marines today are definitely too stupid to be let out with a weapon, but they're still as tasty as ever. Here are some of the very stupid things we've been seeing lately
Names. There are many new marines in the corps these days, and lots of them helpfully announce it to us with names like lamer n00b, first time n00b and nsplayer. These names tell us all that there is an easy meal coming our way, and we have seen that they are less likely to be given expensive equipment by a commander. Make sure your own brood spawn do not use such foolish names, and instead use local chat to tell their friends that they are new to the game.
Using global chat by mistake. Aaaaaah, little do they know that we hear them. While it is helpful to hear a player requesting a grenade launcher or HMG, last night on an attack a single foolish marine rang the dinner bell:

Can I get a welder please
Can I get a welder please
Can I get a welder please
ffs can we get a new commander

The juicy morsels were indeed as disorganised as they sounded, and we retired from battle full of fresh meat.
Many marines, even knowing they are in the area of one of our number, will still use their comms gear to request items. "Can I get a med-pack stat?". I hope you get it quick oh walking larder, for I am coming to eat you. Many marines are similarly unaware of just how loud their building, reloading and walking is to our sensitive ears, listen carefully for the clumsy ones' tell-tale clues and you will catch them unprepared for you.
Structure is under attack. The brave marine, on the way to an important area with a full clip will rarely pass up the opportunity to attack one of our structures. Placing a single offensive chamber in an approach to one of our areas will often give us early warning that they approach.
3 marines v 1 skulk. Yes it's true, the humans still do not understand that a single skulk attacking their base is just tying up their marines with unnecessary defensive tasks. Pester them, chuckle at their folly and they will not have the manpower to expand.
Lack of teamwork. Often you will see a lone marine wandering the corridors, and if you see this often it can tell you that the marines are not working together as a team. They are not covering each other and the commander may not be giving orders to his minions. Always be watchful for signs that the humans are playing as a group of individuals rather than a tight unit. Sometimes you can make this happen by attacking two bases on different parts of the map, forcing the commander to split his forces and divide his limited attention. Divide and conquer is a deadly tactic. Without hivesight to guide them any weakness in their leader will bring about their doom.
Overstretching. Sometimes you will see a human resource tower far, far from their base. Often it will have few or no defences and there may be a lone marine setting up the base. This tells of an inexperienced or incapable commander overstretching his forces. When you see this you can be sure that you will see the enemy stretched thinly over the map and making an easy target. Be aware of such signs that the human commander is not in control of the situation.
Lastly, the humans seem obsessed with taking our hives, and will often neglect resources and choke points. Don't forget to identify important junctions and crossroads, and set up your chambers there. A single base in the right place can deny the marines access to half the map and the resources it contains. Assign one of your skulks to tour the map and parasite any marine resource towers so that we may attack.
Things I have said have been said before, but the humans show no sign of learning from their mistakes. feed upon them at your leisure my brethren.

Why bother taking a hive when I can set up sieges nearby and blow it to hell and laugh as your gorges and skuls get blow to hell and gone by the blast waves
... they didnt last very long...
He did it again later by telling us they were setting up at triad generator...
It's amazing how if the enemy tells you that they are setting up everyone will rush there, but they'll be ready, where as if I tell my teammates the enemy is setting up somewhere, completely unaware that i know, nobody comes! wierd
It's kind of like shooting ducks at fairs, except these look like rabbits on speed.
Yum.
Uh... thanks for the blessing?
I don't know if it's because these kids don't catch onto the fact that this isn't CS and you can't just do what you want, say what you want and hope for the best, or if it's simply because the game is new and people are still adjusting.
Every game I see commanders building stuff in the wiedest places...Three turrets on one side of the generator, but none on the other side? 10000 turrets in the base, but none near the commander? Oh well, I attribute commander error to NS being new
MARINE error however...come on, it's not that hard to learn how to build, follow orders, stick together, and talk on team chat :S
I bet 10% of all marines have read the NS manual...
I'm always amazed how well marines shoot ME when Im a skulk. I can be a celerity skulk jumping off walls onto walls up down left right b a start whatever and SPLAT pistol shots.
But by god if im a marine NOONE can hit the skulks
However, nothing tops seeing marines stalking the corridors with that ever so menacing Heavy Armor while weiilding.... LMGs. I really enjoy this, because marines are so much tastier when they have that crunchy-on-the-outside chewy-on-the-inside gear on.
In this case the stupid thing is to forget paying attention to the hud display. Big mistage.
That is poetic, my friend....

Better yet, seeing one walking around with a knife...preferably yelling, with the chat menu, "I need ammo! I need ammo!" etc..
Makes quite the tasty treat
