How do you create a working elevator? how do you create windows? Is there a way to create a mirror? how do you make circular rooms? how do you make a hole in the wall? is there a way to carve out a wall?right now when I want to add a door to a wall, I have to resize half the wall(the wall above the door), and add 2 more texttures(one to the right and one to the left of the door) is there an easier way to add a door to a wall?

Thanks

Man you are new. There are many ways to make an elevator. You can use this one. You first need to make it, come up with any type of elev. you want. Then select it (or if more then one piece select them all), push Ctrl+T or go to tools and then select Tie to entity. Then scroll through the different Classes and choose func_train, then give it a name, something like elev. Leave it for now. Now click on the Entity tool or press shift+E, then scroll down and choose path_corner. This is where your elevator will stop at. Put it where u would like your elevator to stop. Then make another to where you want your elevator to stop next. Then select the first one you made and press alt+enter. Give it a name such as stop1, then select your your other path_corner (your other stop point) and name that one stop2. Go back to you stop1 and in the next stop target put stop2 and at stop2 in the next stop target put stop1. On there flags click wait for retrigger. Now go back to your elevator and select it and push alt+enter. Scroll down to first stop target and put stop1. Then give your elevator a move sound and stop sound and a speed if your desire (just leave the speed for now). Now make a box with a button texture and push Ctrl+T and give it func_button. Name it Button1. Target it to elev. Then copy the button and paste it where your next stop will be. Then compile your map then it should work. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

And yes NS Adam is right. Your not suppose to post stuff not related to NS. You may be in the Mapping Forum but your topic has nothing to do with NS.
