Can't Join Server

I installed NS but when I try to play multi player over the net I get messages that I can't play until I install Costum Game! Whats going on, NS is already installed

    i had the same problem too,
    did you load it through the NS icon?
    If so, dont load it thru the NS icon, instead load up HL/deathmatch classic icon
    and set up NS from there.
