I like the tentacle hairs coming off his head. Gives him a nice look. It looks menacing enough. However why are those spikes in his belly? It doesn't make sense.

Hmmm, perhaps the spikes in the belly are to deter attackers from trying to hit the 5's "vulnerable underside".

Nah, my level 6 would be more like a preying mantix-type structure than anything else.

Who say's it's a he?

Also, the purpose of the spikes was to make it more obvious why the level 5 does tons of trample damage to marines. The spikes help to rip and grind the marines to a bloody pulp when the alien is dancing the Macarena on their quivering bodies.

Very nice exept for the spikes they look like they were bent in an accident.

That will have problems climbing a ladder.
Can it use ladders? as a maper I need to know.

Hmmm....I doubt it will be all that agile....as far as I know it can't use ladders or cook lasagna or anything like that, but I may be wrong.

I'd pay a nickel to get my hands on the texture for that baby...

Hrmm and I think the shoulders need to be higher up, compared to the hind legs. I always imagined the level 5 having a lot of pride in being a level 5, so it would march around with its head up high. And then promptly lower it into the skull of a marine. D'oh

Obviously, the spikes are there to make it look cool. And those dredlocks. With spikes. Coool.

let me reiterate what i've said previously....the spikes on the bottom look wierd/pointless/like they need to go....the tentacles look cool....the rest of it looks alright, though its head is the size of....ummm...something really big, maybe....too big. The texture is alright, other than the fact that it looks like a rotting cherry with moldy/moss stuff covering its arse.

I think the eyes should be moved closer to the mouth, so to speak. Like on a shark you know. sCaRiEr! Maybe someone said this already?...

(everytime i have an idea i think it's so brilliant that i can't believe no one has allready thought of it hehe!)
