Hell I could run down almost every popular server in north america, but I will just go off your list. As you can see these are the things he was complaining about in the first place. So it just seems a bit odd that you would suggest them to him, after reading the first post.

actually about the plug-ins, i'm not bothered by many of them, in fact i prefer them. i like unlimited upgrades in combat and i like the new upgrades added like self welding armor. i think they should be made official mostly.
the last server i used was great. it had like the highest max player count. it was not laggy, it had custom maps. the plugins were great. the problem is i found out the hard way it has some fascist nazi stalinist taliban admins.

Well it doesn't beat the thread on the SA forums but this is the second funniest thing I read this week. All they have added is a sign that shows where to support them. Not really. If there were no decent servers around, then obviously, no-one wants to play NS. That's not a good reflection on the mod. Besides which, you're just one person. Someone could stop playing because they've been stabbed to death, but it wouldn't mean much.
well anyway maybe i can turn this into a blessing in disguise by using the time to work on my programming where i'm attempting to make an awesome engine that maybe NS could really flourish on.
i don't know if i can keep sane without playing games though. when i don't play games i tend to increase in OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) where i continually check things over and over to make sure there are no mistakes and when i'm playing games i just don't have time to do that or else i will die in the game. the kill death ratio i get in games proves to me that i can still be good when i'm not overanalyzing everything and just taking immediate impulsive action.

I believe I can understand him. I don't like such sprites either, whether they are in the ready room or in the map itself, this is just freaking annoying, in my opinion. But what can you do about that, nothing at all. They are the guys who pay for the server. The admins on Bry's are great, I just don't play there much because most of the players are warping like hell >_>

anyway i totally forgot something else that is hugely infuriating about most servers i'll add it to my first post. one is the autoconcede number is too low so the game keeps on ending whenever someone quits or the map plays over and over until you're totally sick of it because the map change timer is set to more than 10 minutes. it's like being forced to sleep in the same position the whole night.

I disagree entirely. The admins on Bry's just don't tolerate stupid behaviour and rule breaking. You break the rules they might slap you around a bit instead of banning you straight off, if you keep it up they will slap you to a ban. I think it's a fair process.
i don't know if i can keep sane without playing games though. when i don't play games i tend to increase in OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) where i continually check things over and over to make sure there are no mistakes and when i'm playing games i just don't have time to do that or else i will die in the game. the kill death ratio i get in games proves to me that i can still be good when i'm not overanalyzing everything and just taking immediate impulsive action.
No scripts, no f4ing, no mines in a hive, no structure blocking, no upsettng an admin, no recyling....uhhh yeah

I believe I can understand him. I don't like such sprites either, whether they are in the ready room or in the map itself, this is just freaking annoying, in my opinion. But what can you do about that, nothing at all. They are the guys who pay for the server.
The admins on Bry's are great, I just don't play there much because most of the players are warping like hell >_>

Lunix monster is great too, I never had such fun at a server except that one. Community is great, only problem is I'm getting tired of default ns, a few small good plugins like /menu seem to really add to the game to me (no I dont like stupid useless plugins, they ruin the game.)
Yes. But this is not a good reflection either. To some brainless nubs, co servers with unlimited levels are decent servers. And if these servers change the community, when people cannot torrlerate it, they leave.
Just the usual plugs and no hating admins there.

anyway i totally forgot something else that is hugely infuriating about most servers i'll add it to my first post. one is the autoconcede number is too low so the game keeps on ending whenever someone quits or the map plays over and over until you're totally sick of it because the map change timer is set to more than 10 minutes. it's like being forced to sleep in the same position the whole night.

Whats wrong with that? It's the rules, if you don't like em, don't play there. No one is forcing you to.
