Im not sure where this would go, but I suppose this is a good place...

If I fire a web directly at a marine, will it do the same thing as a web going from a wall? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Yes it will do exactly the same thing, you just need to fire more than once to get 2 'attach points' for the web. I think that is not a problem as the web can be shot so fast.

Go read <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=21&t=12500' target='_blank'>this thread</a>, it's got some good tips on using the webber.

The first web in an area does nothing.

Subsequent webs connect a web line from the first webpoint to the current webpoint.

If you hit a Marine directly with a web, the web line will try to connect from the previous webpoint to the Marine, but as soon as it appears, it is already touching the Marine, so the Marine will be webbed. In effect, a direct Web hit is the same thing as walking into a Web.
