  Also remember that the best pings avaliable will be about 60 for broadband users & you wont be able to use your connection for anything else at the same time!

  really? omg, i guess i shouldn't have DL that RH8 iso @ 266KB/s last night while everyone was kicking butt on my server. Pings were normalish. Nobody said "lag". you can DL all you want, just keep uploading to a minimum.
  
  i browse the internet all the time while my server is full. no problems what so ever.

  yeah since ded servers use more upload than download you can usually get away with downloading during hosting to a certain degree
