Only type of bee I dont mind is the bumble bee: their big and they dont really seem to give a **** about what their doing as long as you dont go about smacking their hive. Honey bees (smaller version on the bumble bee, but meaner and float around the grass so I walk on them once in awhile ), wasps, and hornets I just cant stand. Their mean, they sting on purpose, and really when I see one, I run and grab something to smack it with.

I found a wasp in my bathroom once, it was in the sink. I ran in and turned on the cold water to drown it. After about 10 minuites of watching it do the whole 'OFMG MAH FAEC' drowning thing, it switched it to hot water where it started to obviously be in more pain, then it died soon after.

But I must see pictures of this 'queen'

Another cool bee story for you all:

I was down in the barn (yea, I live in kentucky so we can have barns. The big ones with the hay like you see on TV ) at my neighbors with my dad since I was about 8 years old. Looking at all the trap-door spider holes in the dirt (looks like a bunch of little craters from where the spiders jump up and grab the bugs that walk by) i walked into a stall with a bag in the corner. It was one of those huge military duffle bags, about the size of those golf club caddy things. My dad picked up the duffle bag and looked in it since he heard it making noise, but there were no bees flying around since it was about dusk and I guess the bees were going in for the night. Next thing I know, my dad grabs me and throws me over the stall wall and takes off with me up to the house. The whole time I'm thinking: WTH? Later we went down and sprayed the bag full of bees and looked at it. The nest was HUGE, about the size of maybe 3-5 basketballs as it took up the whole duffle bag. Lots of dead bees, too.

Fortunately we don't get many of those over here.

    I nearly **** myself...

I eat honey every day but I hate bees. I've been stung and it's amazing how much it really hurts!

And the thing that really frustrates me is the fact there's no point in stomping a bee after it has stung you - the best way to get revenge is to let it just lie there afterwards and suffer a long drawn out death.

Wasn't that an x-files episode? The one with the jackass college show where the kids head caved in and the mom and the other kid were like crazy insect-human hybrids.

I use hose powah. If they're drenched in water they'er not going to fly away. I do that with just about every flying insect, sometimes I get so bored i actually use boiling water. Or I'll just peel off the wings, and get some ants to eat it. I can really get that bored.

I find that one of the best ways to get rid of smallish wasp nests, is not with a can of Raid, or a hose, but with a can of Spraypaint. It works especially well when there are wasps exposed on the exterior of the hive. It works, because once you've hit them, they become completely incapacitated. Their eyes are covered in opaque substance so they cant see their attacker, their wings are coated in gummy substance so they cant fly, they have a hell of a time trying to breath, especially if they are heavily coated, they really are totally helpless. Ive taken dozens of nests out with spraypaint, and have yet to be stung in a hive-removal opration.
