not sure where else to ask
cant get DLed models (player OR weapon/structure), or SFX to work. only the sprites end up working.

anyone able to give a step-by-step listing of where to put such things would be welcomed greatly, as ive since forgotten where they were sposed to go....

First off, I commend you on using the correct forum. So many people fail to do that.

First step, locate your NS folder. This should be under your halflife folder which should consequently be inside your steam folder (x\Steam\SteamApps\<youremail>).

Go to the models subfolder of your NS folder.

To install player models, go to the player folder. In there are 10 subfolders. Just put the models you want to replace in their respective folders. Should be able to figure this out yourself.

To install weapons/structures, just drop the models you want to use into the models folder.

You may want to keep a backup of your models folder just in case.

If you are really desperate and have no idea where what goes you might start a filesearch for the name of the file you got a replacement for and look where it is, then have a look at the folder structure, which should give you some hints
