Nothing In Third-party List..

I have Steam and everything. I'm able to play HL or TFC just fine. I downloaded NS, shut off Steam, ran the installer, and then started Steam again. NS is not in my third-party game list. In fact, I have no third party game list. Any suggestions or known reasons why it would do this? Thanks..

EDIT: I just realized that I'm having the same problems as a few posts down...should have read first, heh. But, it seems still no-go for the both of us..

    Yes i still get the same problems as above and it does not show a 3rd party list at all <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I used to play this before they moved to the current version the one where you had to download 4 installers and install step by step.

    But now i just get nothing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    *edit* i got it working - i uninstalled then restarted computer and reinstalled and it worked :S this is confusing as i did it the same as before :S

    Some sort of bug?

    Ok so you said you fixed the problem by uninstalling all of STEAM and NS? Then restart and install both? again? I'm having the same problems with it not appearing in the third party list...

    Are you 100% sure it is installed correctly?

    You *tell* it to install to "C:\...\SteamApps\[email]\half-life\", then the files should appear in C:\...\SteamApps\[email]\half-life\ns\.

    If you see C:\...\half-life\ns\<b>ns\</b> then you are DOING IT WRONG.

    There's very few other reasons why a correct install would not lead to NS appearing in the "My Games" list.
