I cannot believe Google would make something so obviously horrible for the future of Internet security. There is going to be some serious legal fallout from this thing as soon as soon as some big name companies and or governments have an employee unknowingly install this program and all of a sudden their private intranet, including admin interfaces is exposed to the world.
so wait, if you use it, the web pages (and e-mails and private messages) you view are suddenly googleable? I tried googling some things from my e-mail to no avail... or is the worry not with people on the internet at large reading your stuff, but people at Google reading your stuff?

I've never had anything by Google installed on any of my computers.

I uninstalled it just in case. I'll reinstall it if the fears about the security implications die down...
