New Advert Featuring....

For those who don't know, Orange is a mobile phone network in the UK, who are known for having a big line in cinema. They also tend to have very good advertising campaigns, as shown here. I think this is pure class, and to hell with people moaning it doesn't sound enough like the right actor... <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Enjoy!

Ok, that's just beaten the one with mini me in it.

    BY ABOUT A MILLION MILES!

Edit: watching it for the second time I can't decide whether the slap round the head or the end is the best bit.

The general premise is that famous actors/directors come in and give a pitch for a movie they want to make and have Orange fund. They then go "sounds like a good idea but only if <insert some critical part of the film> was orange/a mobile phone/text message". Also often ends up with them using film quotes from their films to take the **** out of them.

    It's funny, honest.

Saw this at weekend before Hitchhikers, thought it was pretty funny <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Pretty good, but for "don't misbehave in the theater" ads I like the one at the Alamo cinemas in Austin wherein somebody who is talking during a movie gets complained about, and the manager sneaks into the theater ninja-style and offs the offending person with a silenced pistol.

I think the end definitely wins over the slap to the head.

Ok, I think I get it now. But... I don't know. I guess I'm just not as easily amused as I used to be.
