I was talking to one of the Statsme (www.unitedadmins.com) admins in the #Statsme channel. The gist of the conversation was when am I going to get to be able to run Statsme on NS so I can have stats and more importantly MULTI-KILL!! .. hehe.. He said the more people that bug the team asking for it, the better the chances are of getting it. So hop onto the channel and bug them or post something in <a href='http://fourms.unitedadmins.com' target='_blank'>http://forums.unitedadmins.com</a> !! The sooner the better!!

right.. you want to post it in the forums under projects/statsme .. you will need an account first so I didn't put the exact thread in.

AMX has a statsme-like program now (amx is coded by OLO, the original coder behind statsme)

Jackson.. does it do statsme stuff for NS?
  • Jackson_DaneJackson_Dane Join Date: 2002-11-01 Member: 2354Members
It does everything that statsme does (it was written by OLO) but as far as NS specific stuff, you'd have to tweak the scripts a little. Or just post in the plugin requests forum. I've requested a few things, and within hours someone posts that they are working on it, or that it has already been done.

I am working on getting this to work my server (leaving AM behind). has anyone got this to work with mysql yet?

I'm going to add the mysql stuff as soon as I get time. Then I'm going to create a really easy admin administration page in asp (or php, not sure which). I'll keep you informed of my progress.

Well I posted my piece on the UA forum, to show some interest. From what I have read it doesn't look like you can expect Statsme to be working for Natural Selection tomorrow. But hopefully they will get round to it eventually <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I've done the same in the AMX forums. There are a few guys looking into it now.
