Maximum Map Dimensions

<div class="IPBDescription">What's the largest map size possible?</div> Is the limit of the map dimensions 4096? I've tried creating larger, it compiles fine, but it keeps on freezing every time I look at the ceiling.

    Yup, thats the limit. 8192 cubed, or 549,755,813,888 cubic units of space ^_^

    Actually, you cannot do anything within 64 units of the edge. Otherwise it creates problems and your map may not compile. That was one of the problems I ran into when I first started mapping.

    Why would you ever create such a huge room anyway? You'd better not be making a fun map.
