<div class="IPBDescription">mods read before lock.</div> Team Exigent (three time champion of CAL-NS Delta) is now offering Natural Selection lessons and strategy tips. Just drop by our forums to hang out or come to learn how to better your game. I have personally given at least 10 paid Natural Selection lessons in the past however we will be providing multiple lesson plans to provide knowledge to those who aren't willing to pay for lessons. Players of ALL skill level will be accepted and helped, most importantly we are providing this service to help Natural Selection grow.

**Seeing as how this is the competitive forum**

We will also be providing more advanced lessons custom tailored to competitive players. Our players are capable of training any lifeforms at the highest levels of play, Commanding for either team, marine and squad tactics, you name it. Come by and make an inquiry, all lessons are confidential and anonymous. See if Exigent lessons are right for you, or just hang out and get some game tips.

*This was originally locked due to the fact that people would have to "pay" for these lessons, however since the initial post I have given three lessons, two of which were free. It is not required for clients to pay and there is a free initial lesson plan. This is a resource that people can choose to utilize and it is only their decision. Please don't allow the people who resent this plan to interfere with the people who have a genuine interest in learning how to play at a competitive level.

    Regardless, you are still offering a for-pay service. For the moment, I will let it slide, considering the 'paid lessons' as 'donations for excellent service', or tips. Also, before advertising ANYTHING on the NS forums, permission from a mod or admin is required. Keep it in mind for the future.

    Also note that any mod or admin who feels differently about this is free to lock at will, as it's a very borderline case.

    Many of the lessons I have given so far have been free, so we are keeping it a free service by choice. I saw drastic improvement from all clients so far. Any client that <b>CHOOSES</b> to pay for a lesson knows that he/she will be getting more in depth training, however it is not required. The response to our lessons has been very positive so far and I hope the client base will continue to build. Currently we are still perfecting lesson plans for various lifeforms and aspects of the game, so we are learning as much from the student as they are from the instructor. We hope to perfect the art of Natural Selection Training and offer it to all people in the community who are looking to take their game to the next step and make the transition from public to competitive, or just simply improve.

    Another reason we have been providing these services is that the nsguides and nslearn programs have made no apparent development in the past three months. I feel that every player should have the opportunity to go to an established organization and receive training to better his/her game.

    If you don't like the service he offers, don't use it; you shouldn't berate the guy, though. It doesn't serve any purpose except to cheese everyone off.

    OK, some bahind the scenes discussion later, this gets <span style='color:red'>***locked***</span>, as will all future such threads be.

    First rule: Don't post unsolicited ads. Asking a mod won't hurt you.

    Second rule: Don't get too high hopes when advertising paid services. Yes, I realize you have a two-lane system in place here and that the more in-depth service is accessible via a donation, not a payment, but we both know this is splitting hairs.

    Some of you will want to tell me that I'm hurting the community of the game I'm working on with this.
    Let me be blunt here: I've invested three hours a day, every day, for two years into this game. Many of the mods have been as dedicated for insignificantly shorter timeframes. So far, the revenue this has generated for myself or any of them is nil. Don't try to occupy the moral high ground here.
    If you want to offer a paid service based on the game we created free of charge, be our guest. But you'll have to accept our rules on our property.
