    no its the "armory" of the aliens.They hang there carpace on that thing when they sleep or win a game.Oh or maybe its the plating of a dc, gorges have to drag these things to build.

    anyway you maybe do the skin in the same green maybe just darker or lighter than original. Also maybe an aliens type skin (you know black and webby)
