I think that the white is really bad on the eyes in between scene, it's maybe because it's getting late but I can't help looking away for a split second in between scenes. The knife slashing is also slightly disturbing. These are personal opinions and are generally small things, but that can be a small plus to make the movie more "professional"
Sometimes it's obvious that the end of a jump didn't end the way you hoped, such as ending in a vent. I'd guess that it's because it's not doable, but don't do it so obvious. It kind of breaks the mood when you see a marine hopping like an antelope everywhere before crashing into a wall.
I find the movie too long. It's nearly 8 minutes, which is about twice as long as I'd hope to stay watching something that shows off jumps or tricks. Split it in half.
Apart from that, most jumps were really nice looking.
several of the jumps were nicely done and the quality was nice even if the file size was too large (nsj2 suffers from this as well, there's no point in having bitrate of 4000 if you don't even have several moving sprites/models on the screen, you can get fine quality at a bitrate of 2400 or so even with frag footage), but:
a lot of the jumps were bad quality or boring or worse versions of ones already done in nsj/2
there was little to no syncing with the music
the music after Smart Bomb seemed more fit for a fragmovie and also Smart Bomb has been used before in the (very well done) Mousesports CS fragmovie
uhh yeah the bunnyhopping through the vent in origin <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
using your server and having random people watching you in the shots as well as your server's random messages appearing the middle of the screen is bad
when you do the scripted you can see that they are waiting for you to say go, it looks contrived and bad
leaving centertime, the buildmessages, voice enable and saytext on is ugly
I'll have to agree with you on most of those, but thats what the second vid is for. It will be improved, and perfected. The movie was ok, but the compression was horrible.
If anyone here needs help compressing a ns-movie, or other technical help with movie-editing, feel free to pm me. I have some experience with XviD compression / Video editing.

In my eyes, if the guy's black and doesn't care being called what might seem insulting, then I guess it should be ok. Sometimes stuff that would seem insulting to some are just a "friendly" way to say something totally different to a friend.

Imo this movie comes nowhere near the skilllevel of nsjumped2. Its basically just a collection of -mostly bad- random jumps. The only jump of interest was the one in ns_hera, refinery. Just the fact that the movie holds one good jump says enough.
then again, its your first jumpmovie, and your jumpskill will only improve. Yes, your jumpskill is far from perfect ;p.
further tips - always try to make the best out of a jump, for example the maintenance jump up to keyhole definately had room for improvement in either lenght of the jump, or difficulty of the jump. (or both, see the same jump done in nsjumped2) The one where you jump up the slope in compcore - I could do it better with ha ;\
keep on spinning that mousewheel. And try to practise jumping by copying the jumps of nsjumped2. If you can do jumps like: the (complete)maintjump, satcomownage, topographical(jumping crouched on the first rail, so you can do a second jump on the other rail) and xenoformjump, you can call yourself a good jumper.

how about purification, you can even start from the button, or did you intend to do that asswell, but you putted wrong demo in movie.
you kno how many demos we had.. we put like not even half of em in and we def did not put in all the most difficult ones in the first movie... and some of us have a life we dont got time to do everything purfect.
and in nsj2 theres not one jump we cant do in it.. i bet theres jumps in our movie u cant do... some of them where mad hard like the one between Waste and Cargo in ns_tanith.. do that one and ill give u a little respect

Some of the jumps were tough, but I couldn't help but notice the 30 sec clip of vent b-hopping.
Sometimes it's obvious that the end of a jump didn't end the way you hoped, such as ending in a vent. I'd guess that it's because it's not doable, but don't do it so obvious. It kind of breaks the mood when you see a marine hopping like an antelope everywhere before crashing into a wall.
I find the movie too long. It's nearly 8 minutes, which is about twice as long as I'd hope to stay watching something that shows off jumps or tricks. Split it in half.
Apart from that, most jumps were really nice looking.
a lot of the jumps were bad quality or boring or worse versions of ones already done in nsj/2
there was little to no syncing with the music
the music after Smart Bomb seemed more fit for a fragmovie and also Smart Bomb has been used before in the (very well done) Mousesports CS fragmovie

using your server and having random people watching you in the shots as well as your server's random messages appearing the middle of the screen is bad
when you do the scripted you can see that they are waiting for you to say go, it looks contrived and bad
leaving centertime, the buildmessages, voice enable and saytext on is ugly
