You might want to try to tweak other things before changing your models to something lower. I've done stuff like that to play some of the newest games on my computer and it has helped a lot.

What we really need is lower detail buildings, the ammo collectors and all and the alien resource towers and stuff, player models shouldnt kill your fps much im on a 233 mhz, the players dont bog me down all the structures/buildings do

yes, some high fps buildings would be VERY nice.

If they ever do come out i will put them in my NS tweak guide

Ive tried to model for 1 year and i just cant, im a mapper kinda guy, lol modeling is hard, very hard, i hope a skilled ubar 1337 modeler can just take every building and structure model and reduce its polycount significantly without totaly destroying what it used to look like, make it atleast resemble what it is, so we know whats the ammo box and such, heh can a modeler get cranking on this? please support the low end community
