If you are using the built in compiler with Hammer, don't. Use Nem's at http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/. The site also has the tutorials needed to get it set up. If you are still getting leaks, load the pointfile and follow the lines from the outside in. You also have to make sure that if you are using the origin brush, that it is tied to an entity. Also check to see that there aren't any entities outside your map. If that still doesn't work, post your logfile so we can see it.

hamer dont warning leaks.
2nd
batch warning the leaks.

3td
load up the *.lin file to follow the line then dont found any leak on the hull, i only see the batch gona crazy with my elevator wall lights.

4th
could tell me why the batch do that and the hamer not?

5th
how me use the batch for final efects like only to run rad?

Hammer does not include leak checking, It only has Load Pointfile, load the .LIN file that is generated by the compile tools when a LEAK is found is all you can do.

You said the lines go to your elevator light. Is it tied to an entity and comes in contact with the outside? No entities can come in contact with the outside and serve as a border (you can't tie an exterior wall to func_wall). VIS doesn't look at entities so all it would see is a big whole where your entity is.

To answer question five, in Nem's Compiler there are checkboxes next to each process. Just leave RAD unchecked. I don't know if that would cause a problem or not but if that's what you wanted to do, that's how you do it.

I would just use Nem's for the entire process. I don't think Hammer has anything that Nem's doesn't.

Only the built in level editor I think Other then that it's the same, with a nicer compile interface

To be honest, I don't know half of what all the flags I check in Nem's compiler do. There really isn't much to set-up and you can find simple tutorials on the site. It's not as hard as it sounds. Just give it a try and you'll learn to love it.

That is the most recent compile you will find on this forum (http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21248). I don't know why it would take so long for csg to complete. I hope you aren't putting a big box around your map. Another thing that slow down things big time is having too many entities. How long is too long?
