Basically, it takes whatever you type, and tries to construct new sentances which make some kind of sense. At first i'll just repeat you, but at times you can have an almost coheirent conversation with it.

    I hate it.. It tried to pretend to be me.     Edit - Lost the conversation because it crashed when i accidently pressed enter without typing anything

    Basicly it said something like I am Someone, greetings to you the Non-Intelligent Acquired Language Learner to me. Then I said that it is the NIALL not me. At which point it said No you are not, you are the Non-Intelligent Acquired Language Learner....

    Nice find, it learns quite fast and if you take it serious and interpret what it says to an extend, you can have a really great talking partner.

    just act like a teacher and explain him things.

    i trained mine that i am sentien and he is not, that i have feelings, what the brain is, databases of sorts, its really funny ^^

    Another great thing is that you can do it in all languages.
    I tried it in both english and german ^^

    one question. can the things it learned be saved?
    it would be a great loss if i would loose my friend

    yes, it can be saved indeed. just go to file and save dictionary...
    I don´t know whether it will work, but I saved it and it looks like you can load it too.

    Mine pretends to be daidalos... all the time.     wow, that's bad blaq.

    This thing seems to take the first identity it can then as soon as it learns the grammatical separation between you and I it keeps its identity and tries to correct you for being yourself.

    Purely emergent behavior, I love it!

    edit: I was making good progress with it until I tried to teach it math, it crashed on the first equation (2 + 2 = 4). I think it ignores punctuation.

    Yes, it ignores all punctuation besides apostraphes, which it just treats as any other letter. This included brackets and currency symbols.

    looking at its dictionary, I think it turns all ending punctuation into a period. The period is also treated as a word, meaning this is how it knows to end the sentence.

    I never wrote "Are you don't" or "I'd like to you getting some of space", it came up with that by itself. It'll only repeat what you say until it has enough information to form it's own sentance.

    Looking at it's dictionary, it knows the words "pak" "chooie" and "unf" (a poor in-joke most of you probably won't get). It knows the relationship between pak and chooie is 100%, likewise the relationship between chooie and unf is 100%, as well as the relationship between unf and ".". This means that it will only ever say "Pak chooie unf" as a complete sentance.

    Just interesting to see how it's "mind" works.

    It's obvious it strings words at least partially according to stochastic choice of linked words. It's likely just a directed graph. Sentences are partially randomly formed but there is probably something else involved as well, haven't put my finger on it yet.
