Is there a way to change the balance settings of the game?

Don't freak out about "YOU SHOULDN'T MESS WITH THAT STUFF!", just answer the question please. We are wanting to test slight (VERY SLIGHT) adjustments to some elements to see if we can help balance the game out on our server.

If it seems to help out, maybe we'll suggest some of the slight changes on the suggestions forum.

So does anyone know how to do this?

The balance.txt file contains all the settings, but that file is not read from by the server, is it?

Please help...

    Nope there is no way.
    a plugin might be able to do some basic changes but otherwise you cant change anything like that

    It was worth a shot...

    Aliens win almost every round when the skill levels are about the same on public servers (or at least ours - 16 players max).

    I'm almost positive modifying the Balance.txt file will have no effect on the server. I think all of that stuff is statically compiled into the server binary.
