What To Do With An Old Pocket Pc? (circa 2000)

<div class="IPBDescription">Jornada 540</div> Can anyone suggest to me wat useful things I can do with it? Its been gathering dust for a few years now. Bought it for my dad but he ended up never using it.

The PDA is a Jornada 540 series (32mb mem)

Ive tried to use it to view PDFs but turns out the Adobe reader for POcket PC is not compatible with this version of Pocket PC (its really old). So used a 3rd party that was compatible and then realized the screen was really too small.

Tried making it into a comic/manga viewer but cant find any suitable program yet that would be compatible.

I am only going to invest more money into it if the application is really worth it (ie getting a Wifi card for it). Id rather not cos I mite as well go buy a brand new PDA. I do have a 128mb compact flash memory card though. So thats the only addon that this pda has rite now.

    Well if I cant figure out wat else to do with it (other than a really limited mp3 player) I was going to put an ad up to sell it ;p

    Its really been gathering dust and I jsut took it out again to check if the batt had died/leaked but suprisingly it works just like the day i bought it.

    You could create a way to make a memory -> your brain converter. You could expand the amount of memory your brain has, and get rid of that old PDA <b>at the same time!</b>

    IMHO, PDA's aren't worth it. If you can shell out the money, go with a laptop (although I can't stand to type on a laptop keyboard). If you just need a reminder, use a cell phone.

    Well that is the problem...i already have a laptop ;p

    If i didnt have a laptop, there is soo much uses i can do on the pda.

    Problem is I dun drive or rather I dun have a car ;p

    COuld be useful to my dad but he doesnt drive everday and heck i think he will have problems working out the GPS system
