Invisible Objects?

I was playing in my server the other day when people were complaining about how they couldn't see anything..like all the models were transparent/invisible or something..I wasn't sure what they meant until it happened to me; I'm not sure what I did, if anything, to cause this to happen..

I think the thread is called "gnome stole my entitys".
It seems this only happend on Austraulian servers. Someone there suggested it might be due to a corrupt installer hosted on some Australian server.
