If You Could Have An Alien Be Your Pet...

Which one would you chose?
I think there'd be a lot of cool things about having a pet alien. of course since its your pet its not going to try and eat you in your sleep to gain some more R4k. here's a few nice things about all of them

Skulk- ah a skulk, mans best friend... well not really since its the standard unit for the greatest threat to humanity... but still, I don't see why you wouldn't want a dog with blade limbs sleeping at the foot of your bed.

Gorge- a gorge would be a great companion... you could go out and build chambers and hives together, and if you fell down and hurt yourself it could heal you (assuming the healspray of a domestic gorge doesn't melt your flesh off like a wild gorge's does) and that'd be nice

Lerk- a pet lerk would be kinda fun... it'd be like having a trained falcon... ececpt... more...lerkish... that might apeal to some people I guess

Fade- a fade, wow... that'd be a crazy pet... If you found a way to mount it, you could ride on its back and have it blink you to school and back for a fun quick and most likely deadyl comute.... that'd be interesting

and finally THE ONOS!!!!!! - with no HMGs around to slaughter your pet onos in 1 mighty clip, it might be fun having a pet who could eat a bully picking on you... just a thought

so what pet would you pick, if so why would you pick it?

    I want a EGG!

... they're easy to take care of?

... they're also bunches of fun! With an egg, you never know what's going to pop out and surprise you! It could be a cute little slimey gorge or a BIG HUGE ROORING ONOS! They're like little wriggling pink greasy christmas presents.

Can there be a 'bacterium' option? That way I can split all the cells and create my own army of pets.

ive often wondered what it would feel like to mount a fade
you dont really want an alien pet tho...could you imagine the fuss when you come home to find teh front door blocked by an onos turd?

it wouldn't be that hard to keep an onos... just use some CCs to block it in the garage so it gets stuck... and then your good to recycle the CCs when you want to play with it.

...hmm. I really don't know. Okay, I do: A skulk. Running on walls, biting peeps? Hell, if I give him enough vics, he can evolve into a gorge and make a hive!

thats a wild animal that needs to run free
you would have to take it out for a walk in the park at least 3 times a day for it to get the exercise it needs....
and dont even get me started on vetinary bills

remember kids and onos is for life not just for christmas..

  • AvengerXAvengerX Join Date: 2004-03-20 Member: 27459Banned

if i ever caught you with a silenced onos locked in your garage i would report you for cruelty

Onos are actually much like cows when the hive isn't threatened. :o You could probably keep him in the back yard and he'd just amble around and snort at the grass. I think you can milk 'em too!

Okay, if I had an Onos at early birth.. I'd raise it to know only me, and it'd be my cool pet. kinda like a tiger that someone raises.

But if not, it'd be a lerk, cause considering that those things are HUGE birds, I could have it fly me around

I'd want a grandpa gorge. I could hide it in my locker at school and babblers would shoot out of the small vents. Muhahahaha.

I'd also attach a camera to it and make it go in the girls locker room. It's so cute they couldn't resist...showing off.

I'm such a klutz when it comes to pets, that I'd just have to get a parasite. I'd always know where it is, and if it dies I'd just flush it down the toilet and go get another one.

Well, don't forget the fact that your pets could evolve, so
that onos might one day turn into a lerk...

The manual says that when the hive isn't threatened, there
would be no lifeforms besides the bacteria

Thats why he said Grandpa Gorge.

I'd go for a Skulkeh. Have him hang around outside, and when some punk kids come by to steal your car stereo or ring your door bell and take off, he could just fall from the tree, and chase them away, or better yet, eat them. That'd have to be classic, gotta record it...... ^^
  • CrotalusCrotalus Join Date: 2003-12-02 Member: 23871Members
I'd get a fade, it can heal itself and shoot acid rockets.
Actually, the fade is two different aliens, the fade itself, and,
if you look closely enough, the worm that shoot the rockets.

Like the other guy, I could make a saddle for it and blink around
    town...

I'm surprised there aren't more gorges for choice of pets. Gorges are the cutest of the aliens, and they could build hives! I could turn one of the wildlife refuges into a giant Kharra refuge, where gorgies run free, away from the evil knives, where there's an abundance of hives and res nodes!
