<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone tried this yet?</div> I can't say that I have tried to do this yet, but it sounds feasible. Aliens can build walls with offensive chambers, so I'm betting that marines can get turrets on top of each other as well. It might "drop through," as some structure or item placement tend to do, or it might just go red on the commander HUD and not let you build there. I don't know, I haven't tried it yet. It sounds like it might work though, so someone tell me if they have gotten it to happen. Also comment if it is effective or not.

You can't build them on top of each other, but you can build 9 of them really close, and those are deadly. However, its not effective. It takes 171 resources to build just one to block a door, and then they don't "self-repair" like Kharaa walls do with defense towers in them. Also, last night when I was an alien and the marines did it their own two base entrances, all it did was lock them in there, and ended up being trapped by us. It took a VERY long time to break through, we had to cordinate our Xenocides and finally broke through. I think those walls are more like prolonging death then anything.
