I have a total of 2 people on my steam friends list, and they are never on. Discuss current events. Declare challenges; "First person to get a knife kill gets a cookeh".
Trial for a learning clan. (Or any clan, if you're at a respectable skill level.) Play with some of them.

Anyways I'd love to show you some ol' school NS badarseness. Like me, ZXNet, and Pyro Paul holding down a base in waste hive against impossible odds and coming back to win it... *smiles and sighs of reminiscence* Ah those where the days.
Unfortunately, priorities like working my arse of to pay for school and bills so I can endure more academic "BS tolerance tests" so I can get a degree so I can get a better job than serving on weekends tend to have priority...
Other than that, sure dude I'd love to hang out with you. The more friends the better, aye?

My bigger suggestion would be to look into joining certain communities. Communities nowadays in NS seem to be a get-togethering of players who just want to play and have fun, not at a competitive level. Even if that means no one plays and just dances around t o someone elses music.

Some communities require a contribution, like a donation, to join.. so that servers can be paid for or whatever.. but some are free. I'd hate to do a useless plug, but SpecialistsArmy is now rebirthed as a Community AND a Clan. I'm our community head, and its pretty thriving. We have avid forumspeak and lots of fun in our server. Stop in anytime.

The last week I haven't been able to log into the friends on Steam. Do you guys have the same problem or is it just me?

Or you could do the reality thing and have real friends, then, when they're not around you can play NS for fun with a random bunch of people.

this makes me really sad...poor guy. best thing you can do is to join a clan! This ll give you the possiblity to play nearly everyday with a lot of ppl you know. But try to find an activ clan. otherwise it wont work...

newbie - n. a new person, somebody who is new to a game, sport, job, etc.; and inexperienced person who wants to learn
noob -- n. a new player or newbie who doesn't want to learn and typically displays arrogance and/or tries to mess up the experience for other people as a way to give them a bit of ill attention; and attention hungry person who is both inexperienced and immature
There is a difference. Noob is an insult and a negative quality, newbie is not -- simply a new person.
