<div class="IPBDescription">but not to the game</div> Hello all, been playing NS for a couple of years now but only recently had the time to discover this great forum. I play under the alias Agent Orange and have for several years now. I realize there may be *gasp* other Agent Oranges out there so please don't flame me that I stole their name and such. <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif' /><!--endemo--> I play on West Coast servers such as SkullxBoneyard and SC Hamptons (CO-only).

... weapon of choice: Shotgun.

I work as a graphic artist currently but in a previous life I was a game concept designer and I have been eyeing that Artworks Forum with great interest.

Also, curious, any other Alaskans out there?

    I've been lurking here for a a week or two - plenty of time to review aforementioned FAQs. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    But I think I gave the wrong opnion when I said I played on a co-only server... I have played NS since before 3.0 and have thoroughly enjoyed the NS-style gameplay, and I continue to. I have friends who play co and so have also grown accustomed to CO-style gameplay.

    Don't make a habit of CO, it will tear your life into meaningless shards and leave you alone and broken in a cruel and heartless world full of hate, misery and suffering.

    I've mostly used it as a tool to improve my fighting/firing game. I used to continually lose to a skulk but now since playing CO for a bit I can tear through multiple aliens and keep on ticking. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I would actually recommend new players learn the basics in CO then go where the real fun is - NS.

    SC Hamptons now has a 30+ man NS server now. Version 3.0F really helped our NS server take off <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> We are so happy its thriving well <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Yes, I would too, but the thing is new players are usually too lazy to learn this "New" game mode, and don't understand the concept of a good long game.

    I havent had a good long game since the beta testing, and one or two in the constie serv...
