**EDIT** Ok...not to be a **** or anything, but the lack of peewee's now totally rape this gun. It require's peewee's and sprites to be by far your best model/conversion/anything of all time fuzz. Take the time to rectify these things and you will have a trophy conversion.
To get a proper killsprite just remove the hands (if you are a modeller) or assign transparent textures to the hands (via jHLMV) and take a side screenshot, grayscale it pose it. Decompile the stg44.spr and scale your edited screenshot to fit. Compile, done.

Because its impossable to get the hands wrapped around the gun properly, GO hands are layed out flat so i can just put NS hands on the bones and adjust accordingly and re-assign.
