Linux Installation

cedega + ns_install.exe
Hey everyone. Im having a small issue installing NS onto a linux client.

Im using cedega 4.2.1 (too lazy to go download the new 4.3, but it shouldnt make a difference)
steam, and everything else works flawlessly. (hl dm, hl2 and cs:s all work) so its not a steam or linux issue before anyone says anything

anywho, the issue involves installing. i run the ns install via cedega
it asks for the directory (shows up properly)
and as soon as it goes into 'creating directorys' i get a 'stack overflow' message from the installer, then it rolls back the changes and exits out.

any place i can get the flat non-installer version of the ns files? if so where?

also, if anyone else has had this problem, and was able to fix it (without using windows to install and copy over, ive refused to use windows for 5 months now and im happy id love to hear from you.

thanks in advance =)

also, if there is no solution, could the devs perhaps release a flat file version for us linux users? =0

Ah, i fixed it. I thought about the error some, and decided that i could try another way

so instead of using cedega to use the installer, i used flat wine to install and create the files (installed to a directory in my home directory) then moved the files over. wheeww, back to using silence, focus and my skulk in combat games =)
