suspicious activity
To keep this blunt and to the point, I need to know the opinion of the gaming community specifically the NS community, whether romano is or is not a cheater. I only ask this because of recent events on my favorite NS server, Army of Llamas, here have been some of the strangest and most blatent shots of random "luck" but, I do not know what to make of the evidence so, I turn to the crowd, guilty or not guilty.

A: It is inappropriate to post demos, screenshots or other "data" lambasting a player for cheating. If you want objective data on cheat detection Esuna's thread is a good place to begin.

The stickied "read before posting" thread is there for a reason.
Think about it.
1. You talked to him and could not come to a conlusion whether or not he is a cheater.
2. Now you are here, asking players who have played with him in the past whether or not he is a cheater in the present.
3. You are also assuming that if you get a consensus here that he is not cheating in the present he will also not be cheating in the future.
Think about it and you may slowly understand that you are asking for the mockery that you shall receive if this does not get locked shortly.
If you say that he is a "hacker", and if he frequently plays the Marines instead of Aliens, then why don't you tell him to play Aliens more frequently? Would he be still "good" as he claim to be?
Don't get me wrong. This guy barney who also plays at AoL is even accused of hacking, but he plays both Marines and Aliens. It's either he cheats or he's really really good.
Hackers/cheaters would most likely play the Marines side because of the obvious use of ranged weapons. As opposed to the Alien side, you have to be up close and personal with the 'rines and try to bite their heads off, which is a bit harder for a cheater to do in terms of his aimbot. Though, they can still cheat through the aliens, but it will be harder. Which points back to that most cheaters will be Marine and relentlessly shoot and kill every poor alien in sight.
So, if he's playing as a Marine the next time you see him, just ask him if he'd ever played Alien. If he did, tell him to go Alien and get some kills. If he does get a "normal" kill:death ratio (3:1 average) then he's not a cheater. If he gets like 10 kills in a row in less than 10 seconds without being killed, as Marines or Aliens, then you can say he hacks. If you think he does hack, then press F4, go to observe match somewhere in the Ready Room, go first person on him, then record a demo. See if he actually cheats or not.
PS I LOVE THIS THREAD and I wish every night was this funny so keep up the good work
Romano goes great on pasta too. Better than parmesian, cheaper than asiago.

record a demo use the provided thread further up.
In simple terms, what I meant is:
Somebody being known not to cheat in the past bears no relevance whatsoever on the individual cheating at present or in the future.
You can assume the phrase "once a hacker always a hacker" or "once legit always legit", but neither bears any real weight if you are serious about your quest for an answer.
The timeline you are considering is about 3 years. Anything can happen in three years. On or off. Regardless of when and who played with him.
Public opinion is not justice. Ask yumosis.

romano is an old old nsplayer
also, marines and aliens are different. if he has not played competitively recently then there is no guarantee that he has played *and* developed both sides evenly
i remember he was always a kickass marine
I do believe Sarisel put it well. it is not too far fetched that romano cheats now but he didn't then, or he will start cheating now if you get him a clearance.
however this is perhaps implausible and i would bet the same way you do, although i do not know him very much
Im not even gonna read the replies.
