In the UK, our date system is DAY/MONTH/YEAR.

So to us it's 14/3/2005, so it's not pi day, nor is there ever a pi day.

All the math classes in my school had food(pie) and drink to celebrate, but the requirement was all the food had to be rorund

Well, of course the food had to be round, otherwise it just wouldn't work. In my math class today, we watched the movie Pi. It's about a paranoid/ schiztophrenic (spl?) mathematician as he searches for a key number that will unlock the universal patterns found in nature

This is nearly as horrible a catastrophe as when all the science teachers were celebrating Mole Day, 6/24 at a Uni a friend of mine went to. (Summer classes btw.)

Why 6/24? Are they idiots? Considering a 1 mol = 6.02 * 10^23

Yeah, I'm in the same math class as R A C, I brought some round cookies in.
Then we went back to math class again, and got another hour of partay. (And a bear claw, WTH?)

Pi is a really messed up movie, and awesome!

The lesson is: eat your pie and be happy.
