Sensory Is Good

<div class="IPBDescription">repeat "GOOD"</div> First off, thanks to the dev team for the new version. Love it.

Sadly though, within hours of downloading and playing it I started seeing the same old same old....
"OMG what n00b dropped sensory!", "No, idiot, DC first! Always!", "He dropped SC first. KICK HIM! KICK HIM!"

How long will it take to hammer into people's heads that DMS is not the One True Chamber Order (OTCO)? Gah....

I played one game with SC first, and it lasted much longer than I thought it should. Perhaps SC slowed the pace, but aliens won eventually and a good time was had by all.

SC isn't the end all chamber to, ask before dropping it. MC ftw

    they're all viable starters.
DC- more time per life, better OC traps
MC- faster/better ambush, better RT removal
SC- stealth, 1 hit kill a0

With the free alien upgrades, skulks have no reason <i>not</i> to benefit from MC, making it the best chamber in the universe for early game play.

    Sensory a close second.

Questionable usefulness for later lifeforms which make or break the game most of the time.

sof for a well placed devour, or the new cloak for the most frightening roadblock in existence.

Oh, those are nice things(except for cloak onos which might as well not have cloak as far as visibility goes).
But they aren't as nice as the alternatives.

Regen is mostly worthless. It can't hold a candle to Celerity or Focus on lifeforms, at all.

Honestly, the only people who have a say in the first chamber are people who go gorge early. I wait 2 minutes and if no one has put down a chamber and then I put down whatever I feel like. Anyone who complains can take a leap, because they should have put it down before me.

In Classic games, I always gorge, I never save my res for an early Fade or Onos because that doesn't help the team. Res towers and chambers do.

Heh, I use regen a lot...when I'm not relying on gorges or nearby hives/DC's for healing...I'd not call it useless...it's saved my butt countless of times...
