Big Connection Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">Please help</div> I've reformatted twice today in hopes that I could fix a big problem i've been having for a while. Whenever I run ns, the full server list will appear, then if I try to connect/refresh I loose an internet connection (throughout my house). This only seems to occur for NS, and i've tried opening up all ports and such.     I used to have a similar problem with Steam while it was in its Beta stage. Make sure that everything on your computer is configured correctly. Are you connecting directly to the internet through a modem or are you using a gateway of some sort?

    sounds like your router is going out due to over work.

    Some one else was just getting this problem also.

    get it with other Steam games?

    try updating the Firmware.

    I was looking at my network settings yesterday and was wondering what firmware was. I'll go to their site and get the latest version.
