<div class="IPBDescription">Hurray for turning 25!</div> Well....

It had to happen. I've always wanted one, I have my own cash thanks to my awesome job, and I thought 'Hell, I'll never get one otherwise.'

So, I bought it. Oh yes. The best thing I've ever bought... and I've taken a picture in work just for you all.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I present to you....

<b>Shockwave and his brand new non-display Katana!</b>

    I'm behind the camera. See how I've managed to catch the slackjawed look as the yokel handles his pigsticker?

    tbh I'm impressed he managed to hold the blunt end.

    Shockeh, be careful with that. From the picture it looks like it's a ground down from a cut shape blade, which means it isn't tempered as well as a proper one, meaning it's about a thousand times more likely (or more) to shatter (or worse) if it's ever used against an actual target.

    I have to remember to take a picture of my collection sooner or later. No katana, but plenty of others.

    I'd rather have the Chinese swords.
    Will settle for Katana though.

    I think it might be that picture of the blade itself is fairly horrible, for example the edge is nowhere near as rounded as the picture suggests, and the Hamon is quite visible.

    Isn't a round edge a bad thing? Or do you mean length-wise?

    Yes, it is. That's why I said it's not as rounded as it looks in that picture. It's actually almost die-straight. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    A bedroom weapon is indispensible. If you're woken by burglars in the middle of the night, the last thing you want is to spend time looking for something to fend them off with. Therefore, having a bedroom weapon just makes sense.

    Your bedroom weapon is much nicer than mine.

    That wasn't about penises.
