This seems to be the new Zelda game comming out for Gamecube, I'm not sure if it's real or not. But this game looks awsome, I've always enjoyed the Zelda series except windwaker, it was only one that was dissapointing. It was still a good game but I didn't enjoy the cell-shaded design. Tell me what you all think of this, perhaps this is fake.

If you manage to crawl through the horrid web design, there's a video trailer for it. Or, just let me link to it to save you the trouble...

Finally, a game with a grown up Link kicking **** like he should.
The music in that trailer sucks though, imo.
Link my ****.
The GC will go down in history as the console with the most 'love it or hate it' games ever. I loved Wind Waker - really enjoyed the style. Ah well, let's see how this one fares. I'm pretty faithful the graphics are genuine - they are very good, but not over-the-top, next generation great.
I am sure that my dream was somehow very close to the real thing.

quoted for... umm... well... quoted for some thing !
It really just made it epic instead of feeling like your in a little box of a "world" ala The Ocarina of Time (which I also loved)
Yeah, I know what you mean. You need a pretty hefty discipline early on, cartographing every section of the sea, to keep the game from falling into shatters once you start retrieving the Triforce. This was why it took me two attempts to complete it, but all in all, it was worth it.

The trouble is that it also made getting from A to B really tedious. It eventually annoyed me too much, so I stopped playing. A shame, because otherwise, it's top-notch. I may be in the minority, but I loved the visual style.

It's odd that it was this way; Big N are usually quite good at keeping the gameplay crisp. Morrowind (probably one of the only other games with such a big gameworld) had a good transport system to stop getting around becoming such a slog.
But still, I thought the sailing was kinda cool. It definitely made the world more real, imo.
Spoiler warning... just in case anybody cares.
Go ahead, highlight it, you know you want to!
After you get the bow, locate the insanely huge cyclone that used to show up and annoy you every so often on the high seas. Find the little midget-god-thingy floating on a cloud inside it and spew a few arrows his way. In fact, you need to do this to complete the game. There is one place where you absolutely need to warp to in order to collect some vital items.
I wonder if these quasi-wannabe-spoiler tags will work.
Anyway, I liked the seas. I just found it fun to kind of float on, and then run into an island that I didn't know existed just to see what's going on there. In fact, I never used the warp-song-doo-hickey but once, when it was vital.
Does that mean the full game title is unconfirmed.
(Gates Of The Realm - is that right?)
I was offered a GameCube and The Wind Waker (brand new)
for £40 a few weeks back but I didn't have the cash to hand
so I went home and cried I've finished The Wind Waker but
£40 is one hell of a bargain.
So I dunno. :/
I always made sure to find the fish in whatever zone I entered. I wanted to have a complete map.
And yeah, the music in that trailer sounds like a midi. There was a more theatrical trailer a looong time ago with some really nice dark Latin stuff.
Then again, he had already played through the game before, so he knew where to go. That would cut down on time wasted, especially if he got the warp song as early as possible.
But it's clearly a matter of taste. The entire affair of sailing was dull, and it broke up the gameplay for me. Someone else might not have minded. *Shrug*
