Can Defense Chambers Heal Hives?

<div class="IPBDescription">just wondering</div> I know that most likely the DCs will get destroyed by the marines, but I was just wondering if they can heal hive's... I know spray can.

It would be funny as hell watching a newbie marine who doesn't know what defense chambers do shootign at the hive and getting nowehere.

Anyone know?

    they can, but I don't think they can heal at a fast enough rate to stop the hive from dieing, unless its an lmg or something.

    We had... oh, about eight defense chambers sitting below our hive. A seige cannon started to fire and as our luck would have it, there was no closer target than our hive.

    It died, our defense chambers didn't get scratched. I nearly went insane as I heard "Structure under attack!" repeated reapeatedly for the following few hours.
