    I believe I started sniffing around here in June or July of 01. Not 100% on that though. I still get geeked when I think about the tech release. I even got posted on RR.org with a map screenshot (don't laugh-MonsE was pretty desperate some days).

    My reg date is earlier than yours :-P I've played since Oct. 31, 2002. That was 1.0, I do believe. When I first started, there was a problem with NS on my laptop. It would seem as keys or buttons would get "stuck" and not respond for a few seconds, but the physical key or button was fine. That night I was over my friend's and when he went to bed, I played on his PC and it was amazing. I played for about 8 hours, forgetting to sleep. I had a song playing in the background that I forgot to shut off (Ra's "Do You Call My Name") and didn't shut it off til about 4-6 hours in, because I didn't want to Alt-Tab and lose sound.

    In and out of the game until release was imminent. I remembered reading from Tales from the frontlines thread back in the old forums (one with the black layout?). Man that was the coolest...

    Been around since before the first release.... about March of 2002. Was hyping up the game before release to my friends. That first week was pretty crazy. 15v2 wasn't so uncommon. Heh.

    I've been around since about the time it started working with steam. Most NS servers were still on WON, and I was one of the few who played it on steam. Everyone was like "onos! steam suxors!, 1337 ns playaz only play on WON!!" --anyone remember that? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
