Hello. First time posting a topic in at least 4 or 5 months, but here it is. Just wondering if there were any guys left from around the first release. It would be cool to see some friendly faces.

    A few days b4 1.04. That transition was a server side patch but even still... The fact that i didn't change my own game was crazy. I was just begining to learn the basics and they changed it all on me, making me wonder if i was dreaming. :S

    Fun to see it change thou over the years. It's never been as exciting as the early versions, but i guess that's because it was the start.

    For some reasons i always imagined it to look like cs or something. Totally wowed me thou. The graphics were awesome for a hl mod.

    1.04, and had a vet, but you know what? There are a lot of people who have been, it's hard to find out if you really have been around that long, and the vet medal isn't just time, itself. Though honestly, what it was supposed to be didn't work out well either.

    Glad I got the chance to carry it, though.

    I still have the original 1.0 download.
    I was hooked to reading the NS Site when a friend shared with me an april fools joke a dev team pulled on their fans.

    it was quite funny actually, dont know if anyone remembers but it was something about like, no more aliens in NS and how they wanted it more like CS.

    Anyways, the original 1.0 download is somewhere sitting on one of my servers or something, and it says last modified nov 1st 2002, cause i got it a day after. >.<

    That whole week my parents got so mad at me cause i was staying up until 2 and 3 in the morning playing.
