    i had that problem 2 years ago my hard drive was in its last stage it started to happen once every month then weekly then dayly then i could never play in reg motion so mabey get a new hd

    Happened to me when spyware was clogging my hdd, I got rid of all that, done a virus scan, got rid of all them, defragged and all was fine and happy again.

    I get that sometimes. I know when its gonna happen coz it always takes longer than usual to connect to the server.     Are you guys using athlon-64's with cool and quiet enabled or using athlon-M/pentium M mobile chips on the desktop with clock throthling enabled? That's a common issue with such chips in older games.

    +use? Have you tried walking on walls as a skulk when this happens? IIRC that's the only movement that isn't affected by holding the use button, and that would be a good way to make sure if it is/isn't related to the +use slowness...

    im pretty **** if its my harddrive, my comp is only 2 months old, its a dimensions XPS

    is there anything else it could be? i run virus scans, adaware and spybot quite often so that eliminates them type of problems

    hehe, I helped report this for one person who got it ALWAYS.

    we couldn't get anytihng to clear it up (this was back like 2.* days)

    do you move slow?

    or is EVERYTHING slow?
