Yes, you have to give a cc- or gc-number.
Found it quite odd that Blizzard didn't release the gc's at the same time of the game it self. =/

Just went to tesco to pick up a copy (£35) seen as the one I orderd from play hasn't arrived. Going to take the one i'm getting from play (£25) and get a refund at tesco's.

I have a question, if anybody knows... I could have a way of obtaining a CD-key (legally, from another copy, I might add) from a friend in the UK. Will it work seamlessly with my English client, which I've used for the final beta (and have now patched it with no problem)?

Actually they're just too awesome. The amount of people that are ravaging to buy the game and get on the servers caught them with the pance down, so they are pulling it off the shelves in a rush to get all the other servers up and calibrate them all to the current levels the existant ones are on, as well as FIX some issues on the laggy existant ones.

You'll be playing in about a month.

yup as mentioned, Shadow Moon is PvP and as for the population? well.. it's a pvp server. There's a few CS kiddies from time to time but on the whole people are ok :3

The lag was weird... for a while it was being unplayable with pings in the 3000ms-6000ms range then... suddenly everything went perfect :o
From that point on I never got any more lag.
I have noooo idea what they did but it was all fixed in a flash ^^

I hear there's massive server quest for ravencrest or whatever but I never had any problems getting into shadow moon and neither did anyone else from what I recall :o

Yeah I nearly went out to buy a copy but I lost track of time yesterday, one minute it was half one next thing I know its nearly 8pm.

*shrugs*

Once I get a copy of some description I'll probably join you on Shadow Moon as me and my flatmate are goig alliance and I want a PvP server.

Ninja update

Bumped into my flatmate going out to work and we were having a little **** about how WoW hadn't arrived and the doorbell goes, both our copies arrived together even though I ordered mine a month ago and it supposedly shipped two days before his <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' />
