I just got the game for my home computer...

    And second, a screenshot of the error it gives you could go a long way to even the less knowledgable of the HL1 engine (like me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) helping you. Or telling us what the error says.
