Just exactly what I want to do to console fanboys....I like all consoles quite frankly. They all have their merits.

Almost as funny as when PC fanboys try to flame gamers. Oh look I forgot the 'console' part... or maybe I didn't because any REAL gamer just plays <b>all</b> the platforms whether PC or Console instead of championing one and missing out on half the fun?

Just because you don't appreciate Live, or PGR2, or PDO, or Outrun2, or Halo / 2, or Burnout 3, or Tetris Worlds (ESPECIALLY Tetris Worlds), or the possibility of modifications, doesn't mean you can post an opinion as <span style='color:white'>Be nice.</span> as "a shiny case for <span style='color:white'>Snip.</span>." btw halo2 etc comes out for pc becuase xbox is miicrosoft most titles to get more money come out for pc

No idea what you're referring to with 'PDO'. Outrun 2... try F-Zero GX. It's much faster, and doesn't disgrace the name of SEGA.
Halo and Halo 2 sucked bowling-ball sized rocks through a coffee stirrer. Oh, and the PC version of Halo looks better regardless, and loads faster than the x-bucks.
Burnout 3 is a bit of fun, but I still prefer the GTA series, not to mention the loads of street racing games available. Not as much crash, but quite a bit more speed.
And I've had Tetris Worlds on my PC since... damn, it's been so long, I can't remember when I installed it.
The PS2 is a custom-designed gaming platform, not using <b>off-the-shelf parts</b> like the xbox.
But it's funny. For a crappy PC, the xbox weighs almost three times as much as it should, and the controllers were released larger than god. Oh, and don't forget Microsoft's wonderful decision to not make the next x-box non backward-compatible. They got your money, b***h. And you're gonna smile and ask for another before the wound's even stopped bleeding. <span style='color:white'>Be nice.</span>
In fact, the only thing they got RIGHT was the trip-snap connectors on the controller cables.
But then, if those weren't there someone might trip and pull the box down on top of themselves, and be trapped there for weeks. If not shatter their spine.
That's completely ridiculous. Comparing an adrenaline-fueled speed racer to a mellow power-sliding beautiful journey makes no sense whatsoever. Oh, hang on, it's "much faster!" I've messed up <i>again!</i>

You don't like Halo or Outrun or PGR. Fine. Many, many people love them. They're not "twits" for owning the system that they're exclusively available to.
So it's a "crappy PC" because it uses standardised parts? Glad you cleared that up! For a minute, I thought the PS2, Gamecube and Xbox were designed for the same core function!
So... you're saying that Outrun is NOT a racing game at heart. That the objective is NOT to reach the next checkpoint before your time runs out. Or is it a more 'calming, soothing' racer, suitable for the 'assisted living communities'? Perhaps the challenges to win a girlfriend's affection could be more accurately represented by a cheesy street racer like 'SRS'? You'll have to be the first person I've met who plays a video game to take a nap.
And by the same token as your argument for why Halo didn't suck... look at how many people like Counter-Strike. The majority of the world has no taste. And most of the gaming sites gave HALO2 the 'meh' after they'd actually gotten to play it for more than a few kid-in-a-candyshop hours.
But then, what can you expect by having people use a gamepad for an FPS, rather than keyboard and mouse? This ain't exactly the DooM2 days any more.
Not sure it's even worth bothering, but I'll reply after work.
I'm intrigued as I never knew my x-box GPU was actually "off the shelf". Is it actually possible to pull it out of the X-Box & stick in a PC? If so it would be quite funny to see, and the 3D Mark results.
