I got bored with the blue with blue and more blue of the marine style.
so heres a quick redo of the original motion tracking sprite, red inside, blue outside.

I have such a time with getting the colour palettes matching, it drives me nuts. Photoshop does not like me one bit as far as that goes.
How do you properly get a colour palette happening? (particularly with the fading in and out)

Put them all onto one canvas, then go indexed color. Then edit the canvas size to each sprite and save. Thats how I do it, if someone has an easier way, feel free to explain.
*edit* although what did you mean by 'have them all in one psd'.
That might be my problem - just show and hide layers as each segment gets indexed?
however, i redid the Scent of fear sprite, made it green, and was going to use it for parasite, but the pallet was different.
if you are only using a primary colour and its variations (eg green to black) go to the colour table and select the first to the last square. then set the primary colour (ie green) then black, and it will do 254 shades between green (255) and black.
edit: :o thnx for the tip fury, never knew that <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

That's exactly what I mean, and that's what I always do. Just make sure not to overwrite the .psd after you index.
rename it to blip4.spr

anyway, 2 versions one with text one without. the first post sprite should have text upside down , cause it autoflips verticle for some unknown reason :S
