specs

Win XP
AMD ATHLON 1700
1.57 Ghz
512 MB RAM

It says on the box that it should run with a amd k/6 athlon... my first guess was that k=thousand so 1600... or 6000... so im lost and alone <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Cant install it without meh mom's permission and she wont answer her fone dammit...     Yes, it will. Probably at 1024 by 768 at high details with no AA or AF. If you had a faster processor then you could probably get 2xAA and 4xAF.

    yes it will definately play HL2, IIRC that card is DX9 compatable... however, don't expect to run it at full settings by any means, expecially since you don't have much of a processor to speak of.

    If you ask a question like this again I WILL stab you. Really. Use common sense. It runs on FAR less. Now think for yourself here... your card is MORE powerful than those. Can it run? Can it?

    Sorry but..it'll run, but I made that mistake before. I got a 9800 pro with a 1200 Athlon or so, my FX 5200 ran faster. Might work better on yours, but I would think at least 2000+ would be best.(new 2800+ solved all problems)

    ive got the nearly same system and mine plays hl2 easily, in fact the only game that i ever get slow downs on is rome total war, with the spqr mod installed and 5000+ guys on the screen!!!

    amd 2000 xp
    756mb ram
    win xp
    6600 gt

    ur prcoesssor will be abottle neck in your system, but, meh, who cares
