<div class="IPBDescription">Just wanna say thank you.</div> Yesterday I enjoyed some of the best gaming I've ever had.
I was on the main LanVancouver NS server, and a game was just starting. More and more people were joining, and then Flayra joined! It was like meeting a celebrity in a virtual, nerdy sort of way. Everyone was like "hey! There's the guy that MADE THIS MOD!" Soon I learned this was a Big Game, or maybe a Big Beta Test (the server was running a 1.02 patch beta), and about 40 people must have been playing. It was insane. It ruled. The Marine commander must have been sweating like a pig in his chair and swigging 2-litre bottles of Sprite or something. Most of the players knew exactly what they were doing, Marine and Kharaa alike. And the best part? I was Marine, and <i>the Marines won</i>. Ecstasy. The only 2 disappointments were that the Alien players left when they started to lose, and the server dumped everyone every now and then. But seriously, that was a huge amount of fun.
