<div class="IPBDescription">No More listening to ppl sing on the mic</div> People abuse the fact that There seems to be no way to mute player voice chat. On some servers they Just hold the voice chat key and Spam the Voice Chat so bad it totaly ruins the game. Unless there is a way to turn VC off already and I am missing it. If it is not possible to Mute players yet this should be a #1 fix befor all others.

like in CS I tried to bring up the scores and middle mouse click to bring up the cursor but nothing happens in NS.

    Yes, muting will be in the next client patch. And no, no one knows when that will be.

    Anyone know how the muting is going to work? Is it just going to be like normal Half-Life muting? Players can mute and unmute who they want? This is fine, but I know most people don't know that all you have to do to mute a player is click on their name on the scoreboard, there are always people in every CS game I play asking, "How do I mute?"

    I dunno if it could be done, but on the Marine side I wish the commander could be the only player that can mute, and when he mutes a player, that player is muted for everyone. This would, for one, avoid letting players mute the commander (a recipie for disaster) and it would let the commander be assured that the jackass who is doing his Billy Idol impression over the VoiceCom is not being heard by any of his soldiers, who need to be able to hear and understand him clearly.

    no. No. NO! Do not make it so that players cant mute the captain. Not unless you want to hear some jackass playing "Dont worry, be happy" on the cd player in his captians chair.

    There were these two idiots on VC a few nights ago flooding it with this EXTREMELY LOUD western movie, it was hilarious for about 5 minutes, then my ears started to trickle out this runny red and yellowish fluid, I think it's raspberry jam. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i hate newbies who vote the commander out for not giving them a gren launher or some other stupid thing. They need to raise it to it takes 55% of votes to eject him.

    Agreed. I get sick of these idiots who sit in spawn and say "hmg + ha plz" and then when the commander tells them he doesn't have enough resources / knows the idiot will lose both within 2 minutes, the moron votes him out. Stupidity.
