Sucks. I delete my character to see if that would let me into the server but oh no, their going to make me wait 24 hours. This game can go screw itself for all i care :/

Any way to finish Character Customization? I keep clicking on "finish", but it does nothing. SAVE SIT THERE, MOCKING ME SILENTLY.

Same as chimpy... after spending ages looking through the finest specimens of why the 'Face of Mankind' art team need to actually learn what a frigging female actually looks like and settling on the least disturbing mutant I could come up with, the finish button seems to be no more than a pretty distraction and hours of endless clicking fun <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

I take it this is a hint the portal server or something went bewm? Or is it a bug?
I'd wander over to the FOM official forums to find out but they took them down ><

EDIT: just checked the bug tracker and it seems to be on there in the 'processing' bit :o

so what has thansal learned?

don't play with the minning terminals unless you wana quickly loos 8K creds <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' />

you get a couple creds for aresting PKs

you can report your muder at one of those LED stations (you get an ID card to slot into it)

the game basicaly sucks b/c we gots no idea WTH we are doing.

So I went to the marketing terminal and i bought that pistol that all the other cops have.

Then i walked down to the storage terminal and picked up my gun. It never deducted any credits from my account either.

But how do i get ammo for it?

I went back to the marketing terminal and I tryied buying some rubber bullets and standard ammo for it.

I select the ammo and press buy but nothing happensl I dont lose any money and nothing appears down in storage terminals for pick up.

OMG

Every time I tried to buy ammo nothing ever happened and no money was ever deducted from my account and no ammo ever appeared in my storage.

Now I go to log in and all my money is gone, and some clan tard shot me when i was standing at the terminal so now i have like no health either.

...

It does provide a small guide in the emails in the game, but mine got deleted when the server shut down so I don't know what I am doing..

Yes they use hte up down arrow keys and some random buttons that are not for FPS games.

I'm still stuck at the "Create ugly monkey" screen.
EDIT: Bah, now I'm stuck at the login screen instead. It says Connected to server. but doesn't do anything about it...

I ran around paris for at least 20 minutes looking for a market terminal because the people said Paris is the only place you can get a gun. So after locating it, I run up to it and 'use' it and I hear "welcome" but no menu pops up.

Having the same problems as everyone else...after messing about in the login screen eventually got in, bougth a gun, then disocovered that i couldn't afford ammo for it. I had all the emails when i first logged in but after I got booted whilst trying to read them ended up with just the production 4 one....

Wheeee, maybe they'll have resolved some of the issues when I get back from work tonight.

Try logging in again. The same thing happened to me and when I reconnected to try to re-create, it logged me in to my apartment.

You can rebind the controls, it only takes about five minutes, plus a bit of tweaking when you find out which controls are more essential than others. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' />

I'm going to attach a small guide that I found.

Yeah, the game is pretty crappy, but I'm going to stick with it until the confusion dies down a bit and people figure out what to do.
