If you haven't signed up for the final beta, then you can't play yet. We, who have, can play for free for a few weeks. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' />

After the final beta is over, the game goes retail. Then you can buy it and play for a monthly fee.

Hurling a fireball as a mage = crash
Starting the game with a dwarf = crash
Clicking or even farting in the general direction of the Gnome icon = crash
Starting the game as an Orc warrior = crash

I think I need to reinstall, but that might just be me ...

Considering whats happening on the servers over here, it is hardly a bad idea.

Well the UK retail date has been pushed back to the 17th of February <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /> so I guess we'll be playing the beta a little bit longer.
