<div class="IPBDescription">How to lose a co_ abc</div> I just finished a dread game of co_ once more and I realized one bad thing. Feed, 90% rine wins are from the skulks that die 10 times before 5minutes. They usually lead the board due they get 1-2 in those rushes but evetually the rines get to level 4. After that you can say bye bye to win. Good players are on tight due over exped rines and other people keep feeding the marines.

Seriously, the biggest problem with NS in general right now is that brains are underappreciated. There are always going to be morons who have absolutely no learning capacity, and as a player, there's nothing you can do about it. (Even the developers can't do much, though, since no matter how much a game stresses the importance of intelligent play, there's no way to discourage every dumb**** with an internet connection from playing.)
Marine Skyhigh K:D Ratio achived before 5 min: Marine win
Marine 5 minutes jp: marine 80% win
Else: Aliens Win
i really dun see a point why co needs a 10-minute or 20-minute limit.
u know if u r winning or losing before 5 minutes interval.
how to fix it?
make all co a 5-minute game
but i also think that you need these rushers on co_ to get that 50 0 fade. You cant leech if every1 has good camp spots cant you (faceoff vent afk for 5mins--> free fade)
You've probably said don't rush once, then yelled at them, then gave up. So what? CO is only a DEATHMATCH game.

That's the problem. It's marketed as the deathmatch version of NS, but what's missed is that is greatly team and cooperation dependant anyway. If you just fling yourself at the marines, you will lose, even though you may have stats of 5-3 after the first couple of rushes.
It's not as simple as a d-e-a-t-h-m-a-t-c-h game. It's more like TFC, or any other CTF game.

You could start by spelling the word correctly, it's "retarded". Combat in a public server environment is a nightmare because people don't recognize dying is a major liability to the team. In regular NS dying as a skulk isn't highly significant (it's more significant than people realize, given), in CO dying is devastating in the first few minutes. Competitive play for combat maps died fast because they were slow and boring. Even 4 skulks dying to the same group of marines results in marines having shotguns, which can be pretty much a game ender right away. You simply have to get a team of aliens who recognize dying is a major liability and the game becomes much better in terms of quality for both teams.
Also note that contrary to popular belief, co is not a deathmatch game. It's a team game just like ns, it simply has different rules and secondary objectives compared to classic. If you think it's just a deathmatch game, you're probably one of the people who has never had a welder in a co game to weld marines, not the bloody chair. You probably are also that skulk that likes to rush marines head-on in hopes of getting a single kill. Combat is NOT deathmatch, it is just as much a team game as Classic.
What's your point? It wouldn't be fair if you got all the experience, since your teammates probably did a decent amount of damage and you were just lucky enough to get the final shot. Or, if you really are that much better than the rest of your team, be happy they are sticking with you and just leeching xp, rather than feeding it to the other team by running off alone and dying. Statements like that are only going to discourage teamwork.
Another thing you overlook is that the total xp given is higher for a group than for an individual. As an example (with numbers that could be wrong but demonstrate the point anyway), this means that if you kill a marine by yourself and you get 90 points xp, then killing the marine with another alien nearby gives each of you 50 xp, for a total of 100 xp. If each of you gets one kill while in a group, both of you get 100 xp, rather than both of you getting 90 xp if the kills were made individually.
if u are against an experienced alien team, even if u have w3 shottie with jp and constantly rush the hive with 3 other non-retarded players with the same tech, u'll still lose out when the aliens realize and have about 3 gorges with adrenaline healing hive, two of them having web.
it just gets way too hard..and if u swoop in to kill those gorges, that cele leaping focus skulk or the umbra-sporing lerk plus the 1337 fade will kill u if the redempt onos doesn't digest u first. it all gets a little frustrating sometimes.
You might argue that 10 minutes is too short. I don't know what a good time limit is, but if that many people are getting to Level 10 or higher, then it is set too high.
