Theres two or three, one has to be HL2, the first level (whole game really), I was simply in awe. AVP2 just for the suspense, and the fact that it has the Pulse rifle. That first CS head shot, i think we all loved that.... And of course NS, when you have a really really good teamplay round, and you comefrom behind to win!

AvP2. In that marine part where u go into that "infested" region to try to find that girl only to find out that its too late for her. A game scene very similar to the first contact the colonial marines had in the movie ALIENS.
Only this time you were all by yourself. Just the fact that the entrance was covered in Alien goo crap brought on the feeling of dread. The sudden door automatically opening as u neared it and setting off your motion tracker was a cheap thrill. Then of course you had to take the elevator and go"way down there".
Cut to a few minutes later
Yea, My heart was pounding pretty heavily as I was ran my **** back to the elevator (of course it was all the way back at the top and so I had to wait for it to come back down >_<) By now the motion tracker was going off the scale and I could here LOTS of scary things awakening.
Finaly getting in the elevator and running that final bit out the last hallway was basically me running as fast as I could backwards while unloading the contents of my pulse rifle and underslung grenade launcher into the face of anything that followed me (and yelling OMG OMG OMG all the way). And boy there were a lot of things that were following me. lol
My pulse rifle clicked empty and just as I busted out into the open I whipped out my pistol and emptied that too into one last alien that lept at me from behind.
man that sure got the juices flowing
The three best game cut scenes ever: 1. The mothership launch sequence in Homeworld 2. The Halo 2 E3 trailer 3. Halo 1 Legendary end cut scene
Best Gaming Moment:
Playing Halo 1 legendary co-op over xbox live. On the level "The Maw," Those corridors just after you reach the bridge, where the flood just doesn't stop coming out. My partner had gone back to get some grenades. I was out of shotty ammo, had 1 plasma nade and a human pistol. Then, all of a sudden, about 6 mutated marines do their uber-leaps at me at the same time. All I see is these 6 flood guys coming at at incredible speeds. I stick one of them with the plasma nade, shoot 2 more in the head with the pistol, then turn tail and run. As I exit the room my friend was in, I see his body fly past me on the right. I keep running. When I later talked to my friend, he said that all he saw was me run straight through the room, then a stickied flood whacks him and they both blow up.
Another great moment: Halo 2, the last level, that room where there are a bunch of brutes and jackals gaurding a 2 level prison. Just taking out the jackals one-by-one with your sword while cloaked... You feel so leet.

ooh ooh I have a halo moment too lol!
I was playing co op in Halo 1 on legendary, the very end part where you are driving in the warthog to try to get to the evac ship.
He had to restart the mission several times. On the 6th try we are 3/4 the way to the end when we came under really heavy enemy fire. My partner was driving like mad running over enemies and careening around obstacles. I was in the gunner spot blasting away at anything non human.
Suddenlyhe swirved to avoid something and hit a ramp sideways and he flipped the warthog and i went flying out and landed really far away.
The timer was counting down and all we wanted to do was beat the game. I shouted at him to leave me and get the hell out of here. He said no and tried to come back for me but I told him to just go.
So he drove off leaving me with my human pistol and a plasma gun with only a little ammo left.
Not knowing what to do I started to run to the end. Which was still like a LOOOOONG ways to go.
Torwards the end, as the counter ticked closer to 0 the little Covenant grunts actualy stopped attacking me for the most part. Some did. Others started running with me to the end. Some where cowering in fear. I didnt bother killing them. Ijsut kept running futiley.
My friend got to the end just after the counter got to nothing. But he made it. It was so close the screen was already turning completly white from the explosion just as he hopped in the evac ship. My sacrifice wasnt in vain after all .
That was the first time I saw the Halo 2 ending sequence. For whatever reasons it sounded pretty sad, like Master Chief and Cortana where sad about me not making it lol. And the music kinda added to it as well.
Which reminds me of that mad dash. Same session, same guy. I was driving up one of those ramps that has the little edges on either side, so if you dont hit it dead on youll flip. Well, up until then, I hadn't hit anything , so I was going kinda very fast. I clip that edge with my back right wheel, which send us into a forward-flip barrel roll. At about the exact same time, A flood who happened to have a rocket launcher shot us. Right on that wheel well. We went into a giant flip, flipped over the walls and out of the autumn. As we were falling, about to hit the ground, we see the whiteout start to happen.
I'd have to say Mario 64....

I knew that Shodan had to be there somewhere (even if it's entirely implausible), but I hadn't expected THAT to happen. I ran around that small room for a good five second in blind terror.
Single-player: realising in Doom 1 + 2 that you could get the masses of monsters to have massive fights WITH EACH OTHER! So you DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL THEM! I then decided to cheat on god mode and just create huge monster on monster battles. Great fun. Shame that not many games these days do that. Oh,and all of Metal Gear 1 + 2. Great fun from start to finish. And also killing people in The Sims. Never has domestic virtual violence been so fun. (am I twisted?) And possibly facing the Ridley boss on Metroid Prime. Hard boss, harder than the last. Great fun to beat it some hours later. Too bad ending sucks on that game. Max Payne's bullet time. The hours spent making kills look good. Or bad. And Worms, which without we would have no Gunbound,no humourous war games and no cries of "Holy Hand Grenade"....WTH? AAAHHHH!!!
Multi-player: playing HL Online for the FIRST TIME. Couldn't believe how good that was. Oh,and after that, discovering NS and the amazing skulk powers. Cloaking; who needs Metal Gear, bring on the Skulks!! Also, discovering RYL and the fact that you could actually climb mountains, yet no-one actually bothered.
I have a few (they're mostly RPGs): NS: 1.04-2.0 KH1: Sephiroth fight FF8: Some of the boss fights in disc 4 (Fun) FF10: Most of it at the start (It's also when I got my first PS2, first PS2 game ) FF11: Shadowlord battle, Avatar fights, and ZM (Was exciting), HNM battles (They were fun and these are the things that I have been waiting to do ever since I learned all about them in the first few months of FF11) Metal gear solid: Boss battles were fun.
None of them are in any order (as in best to worst) except FF10, first time seeing great scenes on my TV (Game scenes).
Meeting Id for the first time in Xenogears (the BGM was calm...yet so dreadful) Bike chase in FF7 First headshot in CS Killing more than 1 person in CS, while being the last survivor (without a sniper rifle)
And of course...playing DOOM 3 for the first time....gave me the creeps. Unfortunately, my video card creeped me out even more....egads! 5 fps!
And lastly....pwning all my brother's worms in a game of (you guessed it) Worms. Fun times...fun times....
On the beta test of SC3 CT MP, I was a spy alone vs 2 mercs. They chased me on the club map and I jumped over a realing, jumped back and activated my claok suit while hanging under the realing. Both mercs came rushing and started to motion track the area. They approched the realing and I grabbed one of them and threw him over the realing too his doom, as he scream "KILL HIM DAMIT" to his teammate. I were still cloaked so he didn't see me running away next him. Great fun
Im gonna say the game that got me into gaming. At the age of 8 - "QUAKE II" OMG PURE PWNAGE
first lvl facing the grunts with ur crashed ship and the chainguns. Then following on to the third level meetin the best enemy ever made! TEH DOGZORZ!!!!!11one
Best gaming moment is as hard to figure out as best game. :i Memorable moments in some sort of vague order!
Watching my Mum finish Manic Miner. Third oldest memory, and my second oldest also involves video games.. I think I was doomed from the start. The last map of Doom 1's second episode, the first time you face a cyberdemon. Extremely eerie music (well, for the time) and those memorable clompy boots. I was only 10 or something, and most of the game didn't really scare me. But that level put me in a cold sweat. Panzer Dragoon Saga. Deserves it's own list of excellent moments, but special mention to the ending and any part involving Atolm. Those damn Haunts in Thief. And Constantine's mansion, once it starts to get weird. Shenmue. I don't care if the game was flawed, for three days I was Ryo Hazuki. Deus Ex, too many cool moments. Like shooting a GEP rocket in to Maggie's room when on my second playthrough. Shenmue II! Thief 2 and the rooftop section in the "Life of the Party" mission. Also the total unlinearity of "Shipping and Receiving". A certain section of Ikaruga's third stage. You have the miniboss right behind you while walls are hammering in from the side. Always gets me tense. The final boss in Metroid Prime. "Okay, so the last boss is just some giant head and.. oh WHAT THE F-" I don't know why, but it was one of the most creepy bosses I had seen in years.
And I really, really need to get System Shock 2 working.

Similarly, the truth about Cloud's real exploit in SOLDIER (flashback) sequence.
I love good old Square plot twists. You know there will be one, but you never could have thought of them.
1. The mothership launch sequence in Homeworld
2. The Halo 2 E3 trailer
3. Halo 1 Legendary end cut scene
